This playlist was just going to be called 'Things I Like...that I hope you will too', which I guess is the theme of any playlist. But after putting it together I realised that every single song had been recommended to me by someone else, it seems only appropriate to be passing them on.

It is a mix of songs I have been listening to for years (Xiu Xiu), new discoveries (Bow Wow Wow) and new songs by people I have been listening to for years (Sufjan Stevens). It contains a little bit of everything I like most about music- nay, life: handclaps, emotionally wrought men, female vocalists and snide comments about The Daily Mail.

The Youtube playlist is down to one of my favourite songs being missing from Spotify, sadly the videos are mostly awful. I can only assume that the Xiu Xiu video was made by a serial killer. Which probably doesn't bode well for those listening to the same music as him.
